Overview
I have over 15 years experience within the digital sector. A client-facing  Account Director with both a creative and technical background. I am currently seeking a new opportunity where I can utilise my knowledge, experience and ideas to contribute positively to a forward thinking organisation. I have a thorough understanding of Social Media and the potential marketing opportunities it brings to a business. I have designed and built a unique social media enterprise, which requires me to be ahead of the technology curve.
My interpersonal skills are a key asset, which have enabled me to build effective and long lasting business relationships. I have a genuine energy and enthusiasm for business with a passion for digital technology.

Director Responsibilities:

  • Creating and building a robust business, based on a workable business model that’s allows the free expression of those who do not usually have access to such a medium.
  • Working with a myriad of designers, photographers and film making professionals to produce an attractive and workable end product.

Sapient Nitro                                         Account Director (Contract), August 2011 – Jan 2012

Sapient Nitro is the world’s leading digital design and technology agency, which supports and builds digital solutions and next generation tools for global corporations such as HSBC and Unilever. As the Account Director I worked on the Unilever account with responsibility for certain specific parts of the account such as Hellman’s and CIF cleaning & Magnum Ice cream. Overseeing the migration of existing sites to the Sapient platform, detailing & overseeing the design & build process to conform to the new parameters.

Account Management Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with Unilever account
  • Developing each client account by advising them on web build best practice for achieving their stated goals for each product.
  • Coordinating external agencies and third parties to successfully develop new platforms for the products
  • Presentation of the new Content Management System and on boarding the design agencies and clients.

World Archipelago is an award-winning digital design and technology agency, which builds websites and next generation tools for the Media, Publishing and Property sectors.
I was an Account Director working on the property side of the company, acting as the number two, to the MD of the Property Sector.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the larger property accounts, which include such companies as Carter Jonas, KFH and Strutt & Parker Fisher German, King Sturge, John D Wood & Atkinson McLeod.
  • Total responsibility for the delivery and marketing of the corporate Iphone App project.

Global Beach (Autotorq.com)                          Senior Account Manager, Feb 2009 – Nov 09

Autotorq.com is the sister company to Global Beach specialising in providing digital solutions to the automotive sector. I was directly responsible for the Ford UK & Ford Europe Account, charged with managing the relationship with Ford with particular focus on their dealer websites. Ford has over 400 UK dealers, 25% of which have dealer websites provided by Global Beach.

In Europe I was responsible for the French, Spanish, Norwegian, Belgium and Czech markets. This equates to over £400K worth of annual revenue.  I managed the day-to-day relationships with Ford across these markets and with the dealers through a small team of multi-lingual Account Managers. I was charged with growing the revenues in each market by presenting our services at director level across Europe.

Burrows, WWP                                                 Senior Account Manager, June 2008 – Jan 2009

I was recruited as a Senior Account Manager with entrepreneurial flair to head up the Volvo cars UK account. I was responsible for the direction of the account, growing the annual revenue and introducing new and innovative ways to use digital to market the Volvo range of cars in the UK. I worked closely with other ATL agencies on the Volvo roster in preparing campaign websites and online advertising including banner ads to compliment the TV, Radio, press and DM campaigns.
I was the lead in managing the Volvo and Independent campaign site for the creative 30 awards.

I was selected as project leader to plan the redesign strategy, of the Burrows external website. I presented my ideas to the board of Directors, which were unanimously approved.  My task was to redesign the site, make it effective in terms of revenue generating, interactivity, recruitment and PR.

I created the web design agency ‘Urban Hype Consultancy’ aimed at start-up business and SME’s. I actively managed 50 accounts of varying revenue generation and a team of professional designers. I was also responsible for the creation of all revenue generating opportunities. Excellent communication skills are crucial in building and maintaining long-term relationships, as is the ability to manage the clients’ expectations.

I was responsible for the design and development of the internal & external web sites within BT Ignite. This included maintaining and developing the Ignite intranet site and the Ignite Internet site, to the highest corporate standards.

I worked within BT Corporate Clients as an Internet Solutions Consultant covering the whole of the UK. I pro-actively sold BT’s range of Internet & Multimedia products to achieve an annual sales target. The portfolio included basic dial up Internet access, through to BTnet fixed links and managed firewall solutions to Intranets and Extranets. This involved presenting many high level workshops at Director & board level to companies such as River Island, Lufthansa and Next.
